(57)【要約】 【目的】 トラックピッチが狭い場合でもクロストーク を低くすることができる光学情報記録媒体およびその情 報の記録・消去・再生方法を提供する。 【構成】 プリフォーマット信号が形成された平坦部 と、それに続くV字型の案内溝を同心円状あるいはスパ イラル状に形成し、情報の記録・消去・再生をV字型の 案内溝内で行う。 【効果】 クロストークを低く保ったままトラックピッ チを狭くすることができるので、記録密度を向上させる ことができる。
PURPOSE: To lower crosstalk even when a track pitch is narrowed by forming guide grooves of V-grooves and changing the width, depth or shape of the grooves in succession to these guide grooves so as to make the reflected light quantity lower than the reflected light quantity of the guide groove parts. CONSTITUTION: A lower protective layer 2, a recording layer 3, an upper protective layer 4 and a reflection layer 5 are successively laminated on a substrate 1. A polycarbonate substrate 1 having 7 kinds of track pitches of 1.0 to 1.6μm is used as the substrate 1. The shape of the guide grooves 7 of the substrate 1 is a V shape of 0.5μm width and 0.08μm depth (18° angle of slope) and the grooves 11 forming preformat signals in succession thereto are a V shape of 0.8μm width and 0.13μm depth. The guide grooves are formed of the V-grooves and the width or depth or shape of the grooves 11 in succession to the guide grooves is so changed that the reflected light quantity is lower than the reflected light quantity of the guide groove parts, by which the crosstalk is lowered even when the track pitch is narrowed.
