Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a picked up image from becoming laterally long, by suppressing reduction in an angle of view when performing interlaced scan on pixel rows. <P>SOLUTION: By pixel row, e.g., two systems of pixel driving lines 17A, 17B are wired, pixels 20 are connected to these pixel driving lines 17A, 17B as a unit of neighboring two columns, thereby simultaneously scanning two pixel rows in different pixel columns. Horizontal thinning read is then performed while performing vertical thinning read, so that a picked up image is prevented from becoming laterally long, by suppressing reduction in an angle of view while implementing high-speed imaging by reducing the number of times of vertical read. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
【課題】画素行を飛び越し走査する際に、画角の縮小を抑えて撮像画像が横長になるのを防止できるようにする。 【解決手段】画素行ごとに例えば2系統の画素駆動線17A,17Bを配線し、これら画素駆動線17A,17Bに対して隣り合う2列を単位として各画素20を接続して、異なる画素列で2つの画素行を同時に走査できるようにする。そして、垂直間引き読み出しを行いつつ水平間引き読み出しを行うことで、垂直読み出し本数を削減して高速撮像を実現しつつ、画角が縮小するのを抑えて撮像画像が横長になるのを防ぐ。 【選択図】図3
